Andy Kemp

Hi, I’m Andy, a Microsoft Consultant, Architect, and Certified Trainer with a passion for helping organisations unlock the full potential of Microsoft technologies. My journey began in the late 1980s tinkering with early Microsoft systems, and by 1998 I was working professionally in IT. Over the years, I’ve partnered with businesses of all sizes, moving from internal IT roles into consultancy in 2010.

I spent four transformative years at Microsoft, first as a Senior Consultant in Microsoft Consulting Services and later as a Senior Program Manager in the FastTrack team. During this time, I worked with public sector organisations, government bodies, and global enterprises across Scotland, helping them embrace Microsoft 365 and modernise their workplace. From driving adoption strategies to delivering funded engagements, my role was about more than technology — it was about enabling people and organisations to work smarter, securely, and with confidence.

Today, I’m a Modern Work Architect at Delaware UK & Ireland, part of a global consulting group. My mission is to build a strong UK and Ireland team focused on Identity and Access Management, Modern Work adoption, Privileged Access, Intune, Azure Virtual Desktop, and Windows 365. I’m passionate about creating secure, scalable solutions that empower businesses to thrive in a digital-first world, while mentoring future IT leaders and shaping strategies that put security and productivity at the heart of transformation.

Outside of work, I’m an avid mountain biker and gravel rider. For me, hitting the trails isn’t just about fitness — it’s a way to reset, clear my head, and boost mental health. There’s something powerful about being outdoors, tackling technical climbs, and enjoying the freedom of nature. It keeps me balanced, creative, and ready for new challenges. When I’m not architecting solutions or riding trails, you’ll often find me mentoring future IT leaders, writing about security and compliance, or exploring the Scottish Highlands with my camera.
